Doing the right thing

Sometimes as a matured adult, we have to do things that we are morally or socially against. This may mean following the law even when it is poorly thought of or even letting our taxes pay for things that we are against. The big issue is when to draw the line.

Take the case of 2 loyal people. Chris Christie was one of the first presidential candidates to endorse Trump. He literally stood by Trump in a speech even when Trump insulted him during that speech. However, when the election came to an end, Chris Christie was not given an appointment by Trump. Even when Trump was president, Chris Christie's white house meal was decided by Trump. the other parties got to select whatever they want. Then there was Katrina Pierson who was Trump's spokesperson. She defended him throughout the campaign and then soon forgotten by Trump.. These 2 people have lost their credibility by supporting Trump's lies or humiliating treatment. The question is if the price of this treatment worth it.

Now, we have Sean Spicer who spent his first press briefing insist that there were more people in Trump's inauguration than in Obama's. I would not go into his argument and just show the below picture. (I guess all the people in the picture were blocking out the sparse attendees of Obama's inauguration.)

And now he has stated that the past administration job number were false when Trump needed to criticize Obama and so happen to be true when Trump needs to claim credit. I wonder how long can his credibility last. And once it is gone, and he needs a new job, the lack of credibility could serious hurt.
