Who I am?

I am not suffering from amnesia. The title is just a quote used by certain people who have not lost their memory.

An interesting story about this came to my attention today. There was an Indian MP who was barred from flying on all airlines in India. Let me first explain the incident that got him barred. The MP had purchased a business-class ticket on a plane. Unfortunately, the flight that he was on turned out to be a solely economy class flight. Now the airline must have made a mistake in selling the business class ticket. That is a fact that cannot be disputed.

However, the Indian MP tried to seek redress from first an air stewardess. When matters could not be resolved, a senior 60-year-old air steward intervene. The words that were exchanged were not recorded except that the air steward did make a threat promise to report the matter to the Prime Minister. The Indian MP then struck the air steward 25 times with a sandal. The MP also challenge the police to arrest him. He also pointed out that he had a valid plane ticket that day so he was not faced with any punishment.

A short while later, he found his ticket cancelled and that he was barred from flying on all airlines in India and ended up taking a train ride instead. The story does not end there but at the moment, I just have one advice for all airline passengers. After 911, all airlines are extremely sensitive towards silly behaviour especially violence. If you really need to throw a tantrum, do it outside the plane/airport and the punishment will be less severe.
