Getting what you pay for
I have taken 2 similar photos of a bee-eater. One is using the Canon Powershot. The other is using the more expensive Nikon P900.

To the most critics, both photos are terrible as the lighting is poor. However, to most people, there is very little difference between the first picture and the second one.
Now I have zoomed the pictures of the bee eater. Now Fig 1 looks a little blurred around the edge and the texture of the feathers look indistinct. Fig 2 edge looks clearer and the feathers look more distinct.
The wallpaper of my laptop looks better. For my smartphone and cheap tablets, there isn't much improvement. 😁
