Compensation transparency

One of the most unpleasant feeling in working life is to find out that the person doing the same job is paid more than you. So you can imagine Sam Allardyce, the new England Football manager's "joy" to find out the person he was replacing (Roy Hodgson) was paid more than him. If Allardyace takes England soccer team to the next level, he will get a hefty bonus. Naturally, nobody is holding their breath on England's future performance. To make matters worse the manager (David Moyes) who was replacing him in Sunderland was also rumoured to be paid more than him.
