Fact of the week: All knees are the same
One common myth is that birds have knees that bend in a different way than humans. Except that what we see as birds' knees is actually their ankles. Birds are walking literally on tiptoes. And their real knees are actually somewhere in their feather.
In case you wondering, they also have elbows and wrists. Birds really have big feet and hands.
