Survivor!
Marsh bird in a pond. What is the big deal?
The pond is in a park. Park is surrounded by 6 lanes roads and a construction site. And this little bird is surviving in it.
The first time I saw it, it was flying away from me.
My plan was to return and see if I can capture it. (On film)
It is not alone. Same woodpecker flying around.
There are other denizens in the park, but they are more common birds like pigeons or mynahs or the second most common bird (yellow vented bulbul). A cat.
