One trick that nature enjoys using the concept of colour. It is quite difficult to produce different colour pigments so most living things find ways to bypass that.
One trick that some animals used is Iridescence. Both birds look like they have a different colour but their colour is actually the same. The bird on the left looks greenish black while the bird on the right looks brownish black.
The reason for the difference is due to the angle of the light being reflected.
