Things got better even though almost everywhere I looked, the usual birds were not making their appearances. They usually appeared in flocks (Except for the crows. those murders never go away. Their loud cawing announced their presence). If any did today, they were all solo acts.

This new bird now makes my tally 80!.
On a separate note, I always wondered how the Striated Heron is in the Heron family looking at it unique short neck and legs. Distant relative or related by marriage?
