Exposure

I am playing with a new feature called Exposure compensation. Below is a picture of a Savanah NightJar. This is as per the camera's automatic sensor decision.


Now I tried reducing the Exposure to the minimum. The background does not appear so glaring but the bird looks like it is taken at sundown. It also looks like it is blending into the background.


So trusting my Mark I eyeball, I adjusted exposure so that the bird is more distinct but the background is not so glaring.
