Gatecrasher 2
The two "gatecrashing" mynahs are back again and this time you can clearly spot the evicted nightjar at the bottom in the rain.
To be fair, some birds do have rather strange wet weather programs like the parakeets below.
Update:
Some people have commented that my opinions of the mynahs were too harsh. So I will try to rephrase the article. The nightjar could be in a timeshare with the mynahs. The mynahs used the spot when it is raining and the nightjar gets to use it the rest of the time. Alternatively, the nightjar could be an Airbnb host who rents out its apartment. The mynahs just happen to rent the apartment during the heavy downpours. Or the nightjar is a nice "guy" that allows his friends the mynahs to crash his place whenever it rains. It just so happens that his friends are bigger and possibly more aggressive. But let's not read too much into things. 😈
