Not everything that is white is Albino
A long time ago, I learned that if a creature lacked melanin, it had white feathers or fur or skin. I also have to add the pink eyes which are due to the color of the blood vessels.
Except that I quickly encountered animals that were almost all white except that they are small patches of color. Or their eyes were not pink.
Not every color on the animal is controlled by melanin which means that the animal can still have other colors. It is also possible to have a reduced amount of melanin which will result in leucism.
