New bird in the new year

 I usually dislike taking photos on overcast days. The exposure has to be turned up to the maximum. The birds still look dull. But then the point is to accept the moment as it is. 

Sooty headed Bulbul

I would have dismissed it as its more common cousin. The yellow vented bulbul with blackface. But it had an orange vent. 

In case you are wondering, about the comparison with the Yellow-vented Bulbul, it is because that bird is one of the most common birds encountered in the wild.
