Brothers from a different mother?

Recently, I spotted this bird. 

When I asked the Internet to identify the bird, they informed me that it was the same as the bird below. 

Striated Heron

I know that the Striated Heron does have a neck. The issue is that the neck of the above picture is noticeably longer. Anyway, I will file it under deeply suspicious.
