Pure blood

Recently, I learnt that dingos are a species. They can crossbreed with dogs but they are not dogs. 

Unfortunately, for decades I had incorrectly believed that dingos are an invasive species and that they were descendants of the colonists dogs.

And they have been in Australia for at least 3000. Or if they were strays, the White men was not responsible for bringing them over.
