The Covid 19 is just common cold. Nope

The Covid 19 is just like flu. Sure, if you want warning labels to leave out the actual risk. I always want a list those brave souls who are prepared to be in frontline to deal with these mess.

This is why I hate advocates of free market being the perfect economic tool.

Take the mask shortages:

People started hoarding and price gouging.

But the free market will take care of things, right?

Sure. See the number of scams and sub standard products being sold. Stores popping with nothing more than a table and some flimsy masks. One dollar only!

But free markets need perfect information. But even the best information is being drown all by the snake oil salesmen. See links above.

So the situation is that rich people (and not so rich) are sitting on a pile of stuff. And the poor and fearful are left with a pile of junk. Or fear.

And Trump says that the official death rates are wrong.
