Fact of the week: Every journey begins with a single step

You need to walk X number of steps a day. Except that no scientist ever endorsed that number. Because nobody ever studied that. 

Except we have magazine articles, fitness devices and people touting this fact.

And my insurance is offering $50 to walk X number of steps for half a year.

And my Samsung device is praising me for walk X - 4000 steps.
