Manual controls
When I was young my father purchased two pairs binoculars for me and my brother. The first pair of binoculars was a pain to use. You needed to adjust its focus in order to see things at a distance. If you look at something else, you had to adjust it again.
When my father purchased the second pair of binoculars, we stopped using the first pair of binoculars. The new pair never needed focusing. Everything at a distance just looked larger. I never understood the logic.
I just did some reasearch for binoculars and I found that the "magical" type was a focus-free binoculars. Now that is something for me to research about.
