Outstanding new bird
Some birds are attractive. Others do cool stuff.
And once in a while, you get this type of bird and you start wondering about the evolutionary pressure
The best part of the story was that I noticed this bird as it was harassing all the other species of birds around. It was not big but it was very aggressive. Of course, I could be wrong about its intentions and it could have been trying to mate with every chick with 2 legs.
Edit:
Found out what the bird is and also I took a picture of its mate. Or more correctly, potential mate.
Meet the Missus. Who clearly was trying to blend in with the surrounding.
Potential mate as the lady did not look at the courtship dance (Bottom right corner). Or just playing hard to get?
A picture of the male bird driving off other birds.
Happier times?
Last shot.
