One joy of taking wildlife is that you get to see cute creatures up close.

Smooth Coat Otter

So we have otters in the business district, monkeys in industrial parks and herons squatting in any open fields. Just another day in a garden city.

So what are the otters doing? Apparently, they just had a group dive or swim and were drying themselves on the grass. There were nine otters frolicking in the grass or walking off their swim.

It would be a nice story if the origin of these otters was kept in the dark. These otters are invaders and they actually drove out another group of otters.

These guys (a few more ran out of frame) are original northerners.
