It is a Tree Stump. No, I have not lost my mind.
The issue is that the tree was where these birds were spotted. And two weeks later, tree stump. 😞
This is why I take pictures of wildlife. I have to accept that I may witness the extinction of species in my own little island in my lifetime.
BTW, I am not too concern for Tanimbar Corella as they are an introduced species and are parrots (Actually, Cockatoo but then that is close enough), one of the brighter avian critters.
