Positive ID

Little Egret

Readers are going to look at the picture above and wonder what so special about the back of a white bird. It is not the back but the yellow foot. More especially the yellow foot connected to a black leg.

The little egret is not just identified by its size (obviously) as the other egrets also started small. The identification is the black bill and white feathers. The final clue is the leg.
