Night Vision
A year ago, I purchased a night vision camera for seeing animals in low light. It turned out that in order to spot the animal on the night vision camera, I still require some light to see the animal. The problem was if there was too much light. (Eg. Street light) the image will be overexposed. Hence the faceless cat.
Unfortunately, getting the lighting correct was quite difficult. The picture below is the same cat getting up ready to move away. It is looking at the camera but its head looks like part of the background.
