Achievement?

At this point in my wildlife photography, I found myself at a crossroads. Is a new bird an achievement? Or does it have to be a raptor? If so, are raptors truly better prizes? Or does the effort put into grinding count?

Or do people need to give me recognition? The monkeys were not impressed.
